Hi there! I'm Charlee Musiakiewicz, a lifelong Jersey Shore local, educator, marine science nerd, and the founder of Crustacean Nation.

I grew up with a line in the water and sand in my shoes, and over the years, my passion for coastal creatures turned into a career in science education and outreach. I’ve studied everything from SCUBA therapy to sustainable teaching practices, but my heart always returns to the docks — where learning is salty, hands-on, and full of life.

Crustacean Nation is my way of giving back to the place that raised me, combining my love for crabbing, creativity, and conservation in a way that brings people together. I believe that education should be fun, nature should be accessible, and everyone — from tiny campers to seasoned crabbers — deserves a chance to connect with the environment in meaningful ways.
